Mission Trip Requirements
Students who apply will be required and expected to have active attendance and participation to weekly Student Ministry gatherings (Wednesday Night Worship, Sunday School, and Life Groups) throughout the Spring semester. There will be mandatory training meetings throughout the Spring for all students participating on this trip. We believe that active participation and engagement in FBCO Student Ministry gatherings and mission trip trainings will help connect students to the body of Christ, equip them spiritually, and prepare them to live on mission.

Important Details

This trip is for current 9th-12th grade students who are members of First Baptist Church Opelika.

This trip will be in partnership with UK/USA Ministries in Tees Valley, UK.

Our ministry focus will be community and sports outreach, evangelism, teaching the Bible, and building relationships.

Each team member will need a US Passport that is valid through July 2024 as well as documented parental consent.

There are 30 total spots available for this trip. There will be a waiting list when the trip is full.

Students are required to complete an online application in order to be considered for this trip.

The total cost of the trip is $1900. This includes travel, lodging, materials needed, one excursion in country, and most meals.

FBCO is already offsetting the cost of this trip for each participant. We will not have any additional scholarship money available. We will provide team members with an example support raising letter to help raise funds to cover costs.
